John B. Fay started out as an independent contractor working with the firm of COLE | WATHEN | LEID | HALL P.C in the summer of 2018 before being hired as an Associate in the fall of the same year. Fay is a native of Washington State, having graduated from the University of Washington in 2009 with a B.A. in History with Distinction. He graduated from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas in 2013 and has practiced in Washington ever since.
John spent several years in criminal law as both a Prosecutor and Defense Attorney and has taken over a dozen cases to trial before a jury, as well as countless hearings and bench trials before the Court. His law school specialized in training in the rules of evidence and courtroom presentation with a focus on civil trials.
In his free time, Mr. Fay likes to hike, read and spend time with his friends and family.
He has been a member of the Washington State bar since October of 2013.
