Christopher Roslaniec

Christopher Roslaniec joined Cole | Wathen | Leid | Hall as an associate in May of 2015 and focuses on all aspects of insurance defense. Since graduating law school, Chris has been engaged in civil litigation involving maritime claims, public records actions, defamation defense, and intellectual property issues. In addition to trial level civil litigation, Chris has substantial appellate experience and has represented numerous parties as well as amicus curiae at both the Washington Supreme Court and the division level Washington Appellate Courts.

Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics at Western Washington University in 2005 after moving to the Northwest from Michigan. Chris received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2008, graduating cum laude. 

He is admitted to the state bars of Washington (2008), Alaska (2014) and Oregon (2014). He is also admitted to practice before the Eastern and Western District Courts in Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chris is a member of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers.
Additionally, Chris is co-author of the First Amendment chapter of the Washington State Association for Justice’s 2011 Civil Rights Deskbook as well as various CLE materials on public records in Washington.
