Katelyn Wenzel-Grette

Katelyn B. Wenzel-Grette is an associate at CWLH. Ms. Wenzel-Grette’s practice focuses on all aspects of insurance defense.
Ms. Wenzel-Grette graduated summa cum laude from Biola University in 2014, where she received her B.A. in Political Science.
Ms. Wenzel-Grette received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2019. She was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and served on the UW Law Women’s Law Caucus. Ms. Wenzel-Grette was awarded Pro Bono Student of the Year by the UW Law Pro Bono Honor Society in 2019.
Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Wenzel-Grette clerked for the Washington State Office of the Attorney General as well as the Seattle City Attorney’s Office. In her third year of law school, Ms. Wenzel-Grette served as a Rule 9 Intern for the Criminal Division of the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, taking numerous misdemeanor cases to trial before a jury and appearing for countless hearings before the Court.
In her free time, Ms. Wenzel-Grette enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with her husband to new places, and spending time with her two cats, Tommy and Bam-Bam.

Ms. Wenzel-Grette is admitted to practice in Washington State and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
