Alexander J. R. Wisbey joined CWLH as an associate in 2018. Mr. Wisbey’s practice focuses on all aspects of insurance defense, including first party coverage, bad faith, and third party defense.
Mr. Wisbey graduated summa cum laude from La Sierra University in 2011, where he double majored in History and Management. Following the completion of his undergraduate degrees, Mr. Wisbey completed his M.A. in Public Policy and International Law – graduating summa cum laude from the American University of Paris.
Mr. Wisbey received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2015. During law school, Mr. Wisbey served as Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review and was a member of both the Moot Court Honor Board and the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Since graduation from law school, Mr. Wisbey has worked exclusively in civil litigation – as both an associate attorney and as in-house litigation counsel for a national insurance company. He has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation.
Mr. Wisbey is admitted to practice in Washington State, the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern District of Washington, and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association.
